Hands-On English

Hello, my name is Josh Wohlbach.  I am from Las Vegas, in the USA.  Before I was a teacher, I was an artist and animation director for TV programs.  I decided to become a teacher, because I enjoyed doing things that helped children learn.  English is becoming the language spoken around the world, and I want to help children in Japan learn to communicate with everyone.
I love art, movies, and I really love Japanese music.  My favorites are Do As Infinity, Aimer, Moumoon, and many more.  I love to use art in my classes, and use it to help students understand ideas in a fun and easy way.
 Let’s have fun together!

Hello Students and Parents,

My name is Linda Tran and I’m currently an English teacher at Hands-On English.

I was born and raised in California in the United States. Ethnically, I am Vietnamese so I’m an Asian American. Growing up, I was raised bilingual, so I spoke both Vietnamese and English. Some of my favorite hobbies are cooking and learning language. For me, language and cooking are very easy to learn but hard to master. Starting a new language can be a fun and exciting experience. We can learn new words and sounds. Through language, we can also learn about new cultures and meet people in every walk of life. I think with every new language, we open ourselves up to a whole new world.

Here at Hands-On English, I hope I can get to know not only students but parents as well. Also, not as students, but as people as well. Please feel free to ask me questions about anything or come up and talk anytime. I’m very happy to be here with everyone and I’m looking forward to our journey together!

All the best,

Linda Tran
